Imfundo Kahle is a non-profit educational organization dedicated to empowering vulnerable people through education in Peru.

Our mission is to promote a more equitable society for women and children by contributing to the development of their skills through education and empowerment. We are managed and owned by local women from Lima and our main impact is in Lima and Iquitos (a city in the Amazon area of Peru).

Who We Are

Imfundo Kahle means “Fair Education”. We also seek to generate situations of justice that allow the reduction of inequalities at the educational, labor and gender levels, through mechanisms of peace, equity and human promotion.

How Can People Help/Volunteer With You?

There are various roles and ways for volunteers to help:

This volunteering is personalized, meaning every volunteer decides together with the program coordinator, what position is best for him/her and suits their skills.

What Makes You The Proudest About Your Organization?

What makes me proud the most is that the organisation was established by local women who genially want to help their community and make a difference.

Those women have a huge heart and they are truly committed to their cause.
Once you will become part of this wonderful organisation, you will feel like family.

  1. Hello,
My name is Rosario Neuman and I’m writing to learn how can a woman, mother can receive help from your charity organization to get a head start in becoming financially independent. Do you offer help to families in Peru? This woman and her family need some help, that is “learn to fish” and not be given a fish.
A way to get skills, take a course, or a certification so that she can provide for her family and be able to pay for her medicine as she suffers from anemia.

Is there a process to follow to request the help, how do you go about deciding who to help?

Thank you for your assistance in advance,

    Rosario Neuman
